Sales Manager
Join Railmonitor on our international growth journey
Would you like to help create new business opportunities in an industry where digitalisation, data and infrastructure are playing an increasingly important role?
At Railmonitor, we develop intelligent monitoring solutions for railway infrastructure. Our technology helps infrastructure owners and contractors monitor tracks and turnouts, enabling changes to be identified early and decisions to be made on a better-informed basis.
We are growing internationally, supported by our strategic collaboration with Caterpillar / Progress Rail.
We are looking for a Sales Manager who is keen to help us continue our sales development activities, build new relationships and open doors with customers, partners and agents.
You will join a small company where ideas can quickly be put into action. You will work closely with experienced colleagues across sales, marketing and technology – and you will have the opportunity to shape the role, our sales activities and the way we approach new markets.
You may bring experience from sales, business development or a technical role related to railways, surveying, infrastructure or digital solutions. If you have a technical mindset and enjoy working with customers, we can teach you our sales processes. If you have strong sales experience, we will give you a thorough introduction to railway technology and our solutions.
Your role in sales
As Sales Manager, you will play a central role in developing relationships with customers, partners and agents. You will work closely with our CSO, marketing team and technical team, giving you access to expert guidance and a strong understanding of our solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactive sales to infrastructure owners, railway contractors, consultants and operators
- Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
- Planning and conducting customer meetings, product demonstrations and online presentations
- Attending international trade fairs and conferences
- Coordinating with sales, marketing and the technical team
You will thrive in this role if you:
- are curious about technology, infrastructure and digital solutions
- are good at building relationships and establishing trust over time
- enjoy proactive sales and feel confident reaching out to new customers and partners
- work in a structured way and can follow up on a wide range of conversations and opportunities
- are eager to learn about a specialised industry and translate technical knowledge into customer value
- can communicate clearly in Danish and English – German and other languages would be an advantage
Experience with sales through agents, public tenders, CRM systems, export sales or international customers would be an advantage. Experience in railways, surveying, infrastructure, consultancy or contracting is also relevant.
You will receive thorough training in our CRM practices, sales processes and solutions.
